Merry Christmas Eve!

We'll soon be on the road. First to Grandma & Grandpa Benz's, then back home tonight.

Presents at home in the morning, under our little tree (we're going to plant it after Christmas)...


...then a day of running around. We hope to have the energy, and a babe that's feeling well, to check each item on the agenda.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

We hope you're all comfortable and warm on this crazy weather weekend. Not too bad here in Sardinia.

We're moved in enough to stay at the house, though Mom & Dad are still sleeping on the mattress on the floor. The first pic is of Lil before Dada put her bed together. She had to sleep on the matress on the floor for one night.

Lil's not been feeling well the last few days, but she's soldiering through it, humoring Mama and Dada by dutifully posing for pictures while wearing silly headgear.

Today after church we went to visit Great-Grandma Moore and to see Santa. Lil was a little more comfortable around Mr.Claus this time, but still wanted NO part of sitting on his lap. Here she's receiving a present she had on her wishlist.

We hope she'll have her bug kicked before Christmas.

We are finally owners of a house again. Still not moved in yet, but we'll have enough stuff moved in soon to be able to stay overnight.

In other news, we took Lilian to Family Reading Night at my school and she got to meet Santa for the first time. She reacted like many kids do the first time they see the Jolly Ol' fellow. At first she was spellbound, but when the time came to meet him, she was terrified.

We were able to calm her down quickly with some crafts...

Counting down the days until Christmas Break... 7 more school days for me, 9 for Cristin.

All I have time to tell you right now is that we're getting along well in our new jobs, we're anxiously waiting for a closing date on a house, and enjoying our amazing Lilian.

...Short on time because 1st marking period grades are due in 5 days and I'm WAAAAYYYYY behind on corrections.
